How is FamCove different from Cozi or FamilyWall?

FamCove adds three things the leaders don't: per-event coverage planning, a school-PDF / email importer, and FSA-ready childcare receipts. We're also ad-free (Cozi shows ads in the free tier) and built specifically with co-parenting in mind, including a court-ready audit log.

Is FamCove free?

Yes — the core shared calendar, coverage planning, and basic chore tracking are free. A paid tier unlocks unlimited events, school-calendar sync, and the reimbursement tracker.

Does FamCove work for separated or co-parenting families?

Yes. Co-parenting was a primary design target. FamCove keeps a court-ready audit log of every change, message, and handoff, and the coverage-planning model maps cleanly to custody schedules.

What devices does FamCove support?

Today: iPhone and iPad, plus a web companion at famcove.com. Android is on the roadmap.

Does FamCove sell my family's data or use it to train AI?

No. FamCove does not sell your data, does not run advertising, does not include third-party tracking SDKs, and does not use your data to train AI models. You can export everything as JSON at any time and delete your account in two taps.

What is a vaccination tracker app?

It's a single place that holds every shot your kid has ever had — date, vaccine, dose, provider, lot number — so you can answer the school nurse, the camp medical form, the new pediatrician, or the urgent care intake nurse in 30 seconds instead of 30 minutes hunting through patient portals.

How is FamCove different from my pediatrician's portal?

Portals only show shots given at THAT practice. If your kid switched providers, got a flu shot at CVS, got a vaccine while traveling, or saw a different practice for one visit — those records aren't in there. FamCove is parent-owned and follows your kid across providers, states, and insurance changes.

Is it really CDC-aligned?

Yes. FamCove ships a curated subset of the CDC childhood + adolescent immunization schedule (HepB, RV, DTaP, Hib, PCV, IPV, Influenza, MMR, Varicella, HepA, Tdap, HPV, MenACWY, MenB). Each dose has a recommended age window. We compute up-to-date / due-soon / overdue automatically based on your child's birth date.

Can I print a record for school?

Yes — one tap. The Generate school PDF button opens a printable record formatted for school nurse + summer camp medical-form submission. Vaccinations on file, dates administered, provider, lot numbers, and a separate section listing required-but-missing doses.

Does this replace an official immunization record?

No. Some districts require a physician-signed form on their letterhead. FamCove makes filling out THAT form 10x faster by giving you the underlying dates + lot numbers in one place. We're explicit in the footer of every PDF that this is parent-maintained, not a substitute for an official record.

What about my second kid?

Per-child tracking. Each kid has their own status grid + record list. Add as many kids as you want, free.

Can my partner add records too?

Yes. Records are family-shared. Either parent can log a vaccination. Both parents see the same list. RLS-protected at the database layer.

Is it free?

Yes. The vaccination vault is included free. We don't paywall basic record keeping for your kid's medical history — that's a wrong thing to charge for.
